Planet Jewellery 4 in 1 flexible packaging
Ylias Handcrafts created four series of inexpensive jewellery inspired by the four planets: Venus, Earth, Mars and Saturn. The client asked for inexpensive packaging to minimize cost for all four series. We brainstormed on how to create a single piece of packaging for all four products. We came up with the idea of an open box, a simple cross- shaped piece of cardboard with four sides. Each side is labelled with the name of a planet. The jewellery is placed inside the open box and must be folded properly, so that the side folded last is the one with the name of the planet. The gift packaging is free of glue and is folded at the shop before customers in under 20 seconds.
