Project Summary
In order to create a compelling mobile application for Agency users, I had to break from traditional HIG definitions and create a custom mobile application navigation structure.

In order to understand the complexities of the application, identify areas to streamline the interaction, and to develop the overall navigational affordance model, I first needed create the conceptual use flow and the proposed IA.

It was determined that due to the high-use of this application within an Agency, we could rely on repetition and training. This enabled the use of obscure navigation and slide out menus for space savings, to streamline the application, and for the content to be the focus of the application.

Mobile applications are a deeply connected to users. As such, we focused heavily on a visual design that created connectivity between the user and the application while allowing for the data and utility to be apparent.
