现今，人们谈到中文字体设计总会想到【象形】设计，给文字中加入具象的物体，但是，我更偏向通过字形本身的结构来传达一种感受，就像【姚体】是矜持、温雅的，【新魏体】是刚直凝重的。我选取了西安的三十八处地名与路名，通过不同的比例结构及笔触来表现这个地方给我的感受，并给每个地名配上插图和我的记忆，希望人们可以关注到字形设计，关注到自己身处的城市。
Chinese typography design always has the impression of stereotype as "pictographic character", but, I prefer to express a kind of feeling through the structure of the font itself, like "yao" represents reserved and elegance, "wei" represents upright and outspoken dignified. I selected the name of 38 places and roads in Xi 'an，try to express my feelings about those scenery by the proportion of different structure and brush strokes, and to illustrate each places with full of my memories, I hope that people could pay more attention to the city we live through my font design.
