THE BRIEF: Create a logo and several graphic assets for the Liberty Bell Classic, an annual soccer tournament.

While not my favorite design, the client loved it and received positive feedback. My initial sketching and research were to create a logo that could utilize Philly-centric imagery such as the Robert Indiana’s LOVE statue, Keith Herring—a gay Philly artists, pretzels, city hall, and Rocky. I tested these sketches with the client. The playful adaption of Robert Indiana’s LOVE statue resonated most with the board.
