Metallic silver with overprint white ink, for their sold out Chicago show. I manipulated a photograph of overgrown grass in the rolling planes of Berkshire, where the band originally formed. 2017.
Jonathan Richman
Hand drawn, 2-color poster for Hi Tone Cafe. 2017.
Grin and Bear It
A 2-color poster to match the tour shirt. Inspired by their aggressive and fierce sound, I wanted their imagery to further reflect how they’re outsiders, even in the realm of extreme music. 2015
Fuzz, Ex-cult @ Hi Tone
A split fountain magenta-to-navy print on French Banana Split cover weight paper. These two stripped down garage-punk bands often play together, and I saw an opportunity to represent that cross country unification with a blend of computer text and photocopier manipulation. 2015
Guppy & Anybody but the Cops - Tour Autumn 2015
A geometric form distorted by various filters in Photoshop to become a soft, psychedelic, flowing piece of noise that lends itself to wide overprints. 2 colors on French paper.
S @ Hi Tone
The band S was kind enough to let me do a 2 color poster for their show in Memphis. Their label Hardly Art reviewed 3 alternate concepts and favored this one. It’s the most simple and bare representation of the musicians lyrical content of loss and depression in middle age. 2015
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Digital flyer for Minglewood Hall. Their music is mostly instrumental, beautiful, lush compositions that incite conflicting emotions and question standards and purpose. I chose to focus on the destruction of beauty, by fire. 2015
Digital flyer for Circle Takes the Square @ Beat Kitchen in Chicago. 2014
