This social project took place in my hometown in Semey. It is a small town in the East of Kazakhstan, with rich history and culture. It is homeland of Abay (Ibrahim) Qunanbayuli a Kazakh poet, composer and philosopher. And many other great people of Kazakhstan.
Semey was an industrial city with great economy and infrastructure when Kazakhstan was a part of USSR. But now it is not the best place to live. Bad roads, no infrastructure and it is dirt just everywhere. City is stuck in the past. So when i came from Shanghai, i wanted to change something in my town even if it is small project.

There are no people in Semey that do street art, and I had no choice but create a team of young artists and do a project. And later we became the first and only team that do street art in my hometown.
Main idea of the project is to add colors to the streets of town. And we also wanted to bring something new to life of the city and inspire young generation to be creative and make our town better. And also show that if you wanna change something you can do it.
As a canvas for our mural we choose an old arc in an old residential building in the city center and add colors to it. So now i think it looks much better.
