Human Powered Rickshaws - Part I

Hand pulled rickshaws were prominently used in Asia during the 19th century. Over the years they were replaced by cycle rickshaws which were faster and easier to ride. While cycle rickshaws are still used in many Asian cities, pulled rickshaws are used only in Kolkata.
These scale models are made from over 100 laser cut parts. They are then stained and polished to enhance the fibers in the MDF. Making them in a style that makes it possible to see them in all entirety while adding a mysterious touch to the model.
