The goal of this project was to create a Do It Yourself book that was specific to Cape Town and its people. The book features the different stereotypes of social cliques in Cape Town, and some suggestions on where to find them, how to identify them, and what their hobbies and interests may be.
The DIY book features four of Cape Town's prominent stereotypes - the 'City Bowl Hipster', the 'Rockabilly Scene Queen', the 'Trance-kop' and the 'Vintage Hipsteress'. Each stereotype is illustrated with a profile picture, a brief summary of how each can be identified, a playlist of their particular music, a selection of their typical sayings, a list of the places they are most likely to be found and an example of an accessory essential to that particular style.
