Redesign of Kent State University Registration Portal

The following artifacts were created as part of a project to re-design the Kent State University (KSU) online course registration system and retrospective case study. The first step was to create a plan for the exploratory research phase of the project; however, no research was done as a part of the project.
Following the creation of the research plan proposal, information from previously conducted user and stakeholder research sessions was provided. The design tenets, assumption persona, and journey map were created based on this information.
A heuristic evaluation was completed in order to analyze the existing registration system. After analyzing and assimilating both provided user and stakeholder research and the heuristic evaluation, a proposal for the registration system flow and screens were made using both sketches and lo-fi wireframes.

Sketches were reviewed and second iteration completed.
Version 2 Screen Example
After a final revision of the sketches, a lo-fi wireframe was created in Keynote.
