A Chess Piece

I'm just a chess piece,
On a chess board,
Carrying a gun,
Carrying a sword.

I'm just a chess piece,
With no face,
Killing in pride,
Killing in grace.

I'm just a chess piece,
With no mind;
I'm here to fight,
Yes I'm blind.

I'm just a toy,
In my master's hand;
I do as told,
I don't feel bad.

I'm just a pawn,
In the front line;
I'm born to kill,
I can't resign.

I'm just a bishop,
I'm here to preach,
"Kill thy enemies,"
A lesson I teach.

I'm just a castle,
I bring peace,
With my guns,
In deadly sprees.

I'm just a knight,
Proud and brave;
Under my sword,
No one is safe.

I'm just a queen,
Unequivocally sweet;
Spoils of war,
Are my only treat.

And I'm the king,
Of might and fame;
With the bloody glory,
I adorn my name.

I'm just a chess piece,
I have no mind,
I have no heart,
I have no soul.
