Tesseract is a two units dwelling for a couple in isolation away from any contact with others. It based on the idea of permaculture, which is design approach to create human scale sustainable habitat based on natural principle. The goal is to reduce impact anthropogenic effects have on non-renewable and renewable resources, while creating an abundant environment, catering to the needs of all organisms. Both Units are suspended on steel tube structures and could be quickly assembled from mass produced parts.The house is levitated from to ground to prevent any water damage and trapping wild animal underneath. The top unit is a living space and the bottom is a work space. Both units have extended decks for food growing. This space is large enough to grow common herbs and small vegetable. The householders are in control of their living environment, and because of minimal construction, the house serves as a model of environmental efficiency.
