Background & approach
Lao Foksal is a Warsaw-based massage salon that offers a wide range of oriental experiences. People behind the brand believe that nothing affect the spirit as the body, so they provide known for thousands years healing and relaxing massage treatments. The services are performed by qualified masseuses from Bali, Indonesia.
The problem that Lao Foksal faced was an inconsistent and dated identity design. There was no leitmotif, the brand didn’t know how to communicate with customers. There was a clear need of developing strong brand identity with visual elements like logo and web design but also creating a consistent and expressive communication strategy. All this had to be in connection with the previous brand image.
Starting off with a logo design, I was looking for a brand mark that will highlight all the important things for Lao Foksal. The result is a symbol which connects hand - as a reference to massage, Bali flower - Indonesian influences as well as the Sun - another eastern accent.
Further steps contained preparation of visual communication reflected in identity design materials as well as web design and it’s development.
Great cooperation, excellent understanding of customers needs reflected in designed materials. Also what's worth mention nowadays - deadline has been met despite a very tight schedule.
