Car Illustrations
As apart of the car illustration project that I completed, we had to take the photos of the car our selfs. The assignment was timed so that the Whiteman Park Car Show would be on the weekend after we got the assignment. Two years in a row I have attended to collect images that I could then illustrate. In between the shows, so that I would have more cars to draw, I used my friends cars.
Each illustration starts outs as an image, which is then turned into an outline of the vehicle and finally coloured in either Copic Markers, pencil, inks or digital.
For the process of the Gemini, it started out as the image I gathered, turned that into on outline by sketching the car. The sketch was scanned in and turned green so that once it was green, the copics could go over the lines that would blend in so that you wouldn't actually see the lines.
The final product was then framed for the owner of the car.

The Ford Gt is the car that I had chose to use for my Illustration project in 2010. It consisted on 3 illustrations of the came car from different angles. I did the front view (seen below), a view from behind and an interior view.
The front view is on water colour paper and done in inks. It was then copied onto photocopy paper and touched up with copic markers.
