LEGEND OF KATANA RYU JASUTISU AND SAMURAI YUICHI
LEGEND OF KATANA RYU JASUTISU AND SAMURAI YUICHI
Legend has it that Yuichi, a young, studious Bushido follower, was training when he witnessed an act of injustice in the village where he lived: an elderly man from his already senile village was being accused of stealing fruits and rice from a farmer . Everyone in the village began to offend the old man, and some of the more anxious began to attack him. Yuichi, I was armed only with his wooden training sword, stood in front of the old man to protect him from the injustice that was being committed against him. He did not attack the villagers, but he also did not let the old man get hit, protecting him from the blows as much as he could with his wooden sword and his own body. In a desperate cry, he invokes the presence of Ryu Seigi, the Dragon of Justice, and he descends from the heavens and stops before the young warrior, saying: "I want to see if your courage and your sense of justice really deserve to invoke my presence You will fight with me: if this old man is not to blame, and if you really are just and brave, you will be able to overcome me.Yuichi readily accepts the challenge, and launches into battle with the mighty dragon. They all turned away and already gave the death of the young warrior as certain. No one could defeat a dragon with a wooden sword.
The battle lasted for hours, but in a rapid movement, Yuichi manages to deflect the powerful attack of the dragon's claws, and takes out a blow that, if his sword were not made of wood, would have pierced the dragon's body. The two stood inert. The tip of the wooden sword pressed firmly against the dragon's body, just below his mouth. Yuichi was motionless, visibly exhausted, but the same expression of courage as he had begun the battle could be seen in his face and in his gaze.Ryu Seigi stood up, moving away from the sword, wrapping himself around Yuichi, and looking around, said: "The young warrior Yuichi has won because he is fair. He had the courage to believe in an old man, a stranger, even if everything And all of them would tell you otherwise, and fought against the force of the injustice that is in your heart, he did not make or make ungodly judgments as you have done it, so I absolve this old man and grant him the title of Daimyo. Lands to 12 leagues, from north to south, east to west, now belong to him. ""And to you Yuichi," he said, looking into the warrior's eyes, "as the first son of his father, I grant him the title of Samurai, as well as Bonaventure to all his lineage."Yuichi then spoke to Ryu Seigi: "But I or my father do not have a Katana, nor any other sword worthy of such a title, so I am not worthy of such honor."Ryu Seigi looked into his eyes again and said, "Your heart is pure. Worthy of a Katana Daito Ryuto." Then he uses his claw to extract some of his own blood, in the same place where Yuichi had struck him and soaked his wooden sword. She becomes a beautiful Katana, red as the blood of the dragon that gave her life. He then tells everyone:"This is the Katana Ryu Jasutisu. This Katana will be branded by Yuichi and his descendants. It should be used according to Bushido's precepts and in order to secure and employ courage and justice. Therefore I return to the heavenly abode, But I leave in Ryu Jasutisu my spirit, to observe and to spread courage and justice in the world. "And so the Katana Ryu Jasutisu was created.
