Proposed theme and identity system for Singapore50, a celebration commemorating the nation’s 50th anniversary of independence in the year 2015.
A customisable logo-mark was created in line with the theme of ‘progress’. It celebrates Singapore’s toward-thinking spirit, a strength that has led the country from independence to where it stands today.
With open-ended possibilities, the design not only provides a sense of ownership to the participating public, but also serves as a platform for reflection and sharing on Singapore’s success. It transforms into a ‘visual vehicle’ for Singaporeans’ past memories, present happenings, and expressions of future Singapore.
