Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE, or, more commonly “lupus”) is a condition in which your immune system begins attacking different areas of your body. Lupus nephritis is one of the most serious complications of lupus. It occurs when SLE causes your immune system to attack your kidneys—specifically, the parts of the kidney that filter the blood for waste products.
The primary objective for this project is to create information packages for Lupus Nephritis patients to educated them about their illness. This project aims to educate lupus nephritis patients, family members and the general public to raise awareness for this illness which will help raise funds to find a cure. The secondary objective for will be to create a visual voice for lupus nephritis and its patients by creating an authentic and well executed design solution.
This project exists because there are no information packages on lupus nephritis. Currently, patients have to pay extensive amount of money for information books on lupus nephritis. This information should be free to all patients. While there is abundance of information online this can be overwhelming for the person after just being diagnosed. Placing all this information in one package with vibrant colours is needed.
