Al Ruwais development Project
Like many other cities worldwide, Jeddah contains significant areas that were established as unplanned settlements. According to the definition of the United Nations (UN) many of Jeddah’s unplanned settlements have been classified as slums and Al Ruwais district is one of these slums areas.
Vision
increasing the living standards in urban slums by improving the urban, economic and social environment and integrate it with the rest of the city's neighborhoods.

Al Ruwais district will be developed according to the highest international urban and environmental development standards taking into concidiration the historical and cultural values of the Al Ruwais area (Al Ruwais village).
