Project 4: Personal Identification

Objective: In order to create our own personal brand that lets the world see who we are through our own logos, resumes, and cover letters; we must explore and remind ourselves of who we really are and what makes each of us unique.

I am Jazzy Okami; a graphic designer and illustrator. 'Okami' is the Japanese name for 'wolf'; my favorite animal, and something I've connected with all my life. My logo, which I am happy to present resembles a paint stroke forming into a wolf. When you happen to stumble upon this logo at the corner of an illustration or design, you'll know it was made by me.

Fun fact: 'Okami' is also a video game released on the PlayStation 2 in 2006 with high praise. In it, you play the Japanese wolf God Amaterasu: Goddess of the sun and earth who must go on a journey to save Japan from evil monsters and spirits, with a little help from other animal celestial gods, and friends.

One of the unique aspects of this game is that in order to progress through the world, solve puzzles, and kill monsters, you must use your controller and draw different symbols on the screen with your calligraphy brush/tail. It is also a story of self discovery.
