XAVIER HOUSE

An aspiring residential project in the County Wicklow, south of Dublin in the deeply green Ireland, on internal coast towards the Great Britain Isle.

In a wide landscape, calm and friendly, architectural events gather, condense space. The possibility of  'direct one's glance so far’ is alongside the option of living collected and private spaces. Vastness and free horizon, smaller spaces, public and private, service and representation: the relationship between them is the matter of all architectures. The architect's personal metaphors overlap, stratify and merge personal intricate story of an imaginary client with a particular worldview.

Just passed the black alien monolith suspended on the soft grass, connected to the planet Earth by a walkway as anchor, the house was there, with its multi layering made of artificial stone and white steel, shipbuilding and marine metaphor directly brought out from the neuronal architectural memory of the designer, with its overhanged levels  into the infinite horizon ... "
