Erase, where the drawing goes when it goes out...

Designing the catalogue of an artistic event/performance named

"Erase, where the drawing goes when it goes out...",

organised by the greek visual artist Theodore Lalos in Thessaloniki at 21/5/2016.

During the event the visitors were requested to erase the artist's drawings (you can see a video of the event at the end of this post). We photographed and filmed the whole process in purpose to create a book containing both

the initial drawings and the final pages with the traces of the erasure.

We decided to point out the contrast between them applying a vivid color at the background of each left page (picking a color sample from the drawings)

and leaving the background of the right page nude.

We also wanted to demonstrate the progressive partial erasure during the process and so we extruded some graphic elements from the drawings of the artist and

we diffused them at the middle of each spread or at the corners of the pages.
