Huba

Huba is a completely self sufficient, compact mountain shelter that is able to generate its own energy. The design is based on traditional alpine architecture, with the small size and materials used aiming to minimize its impact on the surrounding environment. Intended to be located above 1000 m, where the average wind speed is about 6 m/s reaching up to 30 m/s, the shelter is equipped with an effective vertical wind turbine.

Sustainability on the go

It works as a system to provide for users a simple, trustful system, in which the bigger number of smaller shelters can serve as a unified accommodation at different stages of travel.  Each of shelter’s modules belongs to the different material life cycle. Living module is made mainly out of bio materials while Power Module uses industrial resources.
