isles x PAOM
Print All Over Me is an online platform for real world collaboration and creation.
In February 23 of 2016 Print All Over Me established the PAOM Endowment for Extraordinary Design Fellows to support artists and designers to pursue creative projects that push, expand, or ignore the boundaries between art, desiågn, and fashion.
Isles is one of the resulting projects from the PAOM Endowment for Extraordinary Design Fellows, created by Marta Caro, a multidisciplinary designer and art director from Barcelona, living and working in New York City.
The collection comes from a series of painted papers, printed with a Turkish ancient marbling art technique called Ebru. This method is based on sprinkling color pigments on water, where they float and form swirling patterns, looking like isles in an aerial landscape.
