This Brand project was for a local Cotton Candy maker who decided to turn a tradition of event Cotton Candy stands, and brand it, and give a “where’s the candy man” saying during each event he participated in.

About The Client
Marc (The Client) wanted to establish an old fashion trust that has been lost in the years, so his logo has to communicate that. Cotton Candy (his product) creates yummy in my tummy feelings and makes us feel like were children again. He wants us to remember the good times and go back to when life was simple and we were care free. With each bite of his not-your-average-candy you definitely will have fun when your consuming his products.

Project:
I was tasked with helping establish a brand foundation that would be easily recognizable regardless of what event he is at. He wanted to establish himself as the go to "Candy Man" if sweets were of interest in the potential customer.

The brand identity is fun, simple, sweet, feel good, and creates nostalgic vibes in remembering what it was like to be a child. It relies strongly on the typographic essence of “Sweet Nostalgia”. It's vibe is achieved via the italics, the stylistic swatches on the letters and when its looked at as a whole it creates a 70’s retro vibe that customers feel each time they read the name. When combined with the logo, which is a bow-tie, were taken back with trust, security, and a playful use of negative space.
