Biom Energy is one of Asia’s largest Wood Pellet manufacturers. Biom imports discarded industrial wood pallets from Australia and recycles and manufactures fuel grade premium wood pellets in Malaysia. These pellets are then sold to coal fired energy plants.
Inspiration of the logo was drawn from a Tree’s annual rings. Each year, the tree forms new cells, arranged in concentric circles called annual rings or annual growth rings. These annual rings show the amount of wood produced during one growing season.
Given the process of manufacturing was more focused on conserving trees instead of cutting them, it was necessary for the brand to reflect the green image the business wanted to portray.
In the end it all came together in a lower case “b” for Biom.
