The name of concept is Poisson. This is a play on word, which means Fish in French/ without the “s” will be Poison in English.Marine pollution can be defined as anything that contaminates the sea. Common marine pollutants include chemicals, small plastic, over fishing (Lighthouse, 2016). Overfishing can be defined in a number of ways. However, everything comes down to one simple point: Catching too much fish for the system to support leads to an overall degradation of the system. Overfishing is a non-sustainable use of the oceans. In her book Do Fish Feel Pain? biologist Victoria Braithwaite says that “there is as much evidence that fish feel pain and suffer as there is for birds and mammals.” The Poisson series was represented the feeling of stuck and hopeless of marine animal by the body language of a women body, which is represented the fish got stuck in the fishing net with weird posing. We could see that all the marine animal, they have feeling and the right to live. Anglers may not want to think about it, but fishing is nothing more than a cruel blood sport. When fish are impaled on an angler’s hook and yanked out of the water, it’s not a game to them. They are scared, in pain, and fighting for their lives. The idea for this concept came to me after a trip to the museum, looking at the historical artifacts from New Guinea, in particular a fishing net in one of the glass cabinets. Currently, there is an environmental issue in Vietnam to do with fishing which is of concern, similar to New Zealand. In this way, everything gets connected. I began to think about how to show a relation between the marine environment and humans through a series of images, mainly focusing on three elements: disposition, contrast and the body language of the model.Fashion magazines are some displayed & marketed, which use the language of fashion beauty photography to seduce the viewer. In this series, I want to deal with the way ad industry creates a female icon and how it effects the consumer, as well as transmit the information. The aesthetic values of the photography draw the viewer in for them to reflect on the underlying message. I use appropriated text to integrate my images into existing fashion cover. The artist who inspired me is Steven Meisel. He photographed the series Water & Oil for Vogue Italia. The latest photos causing a stir aren't photojournalism but a fashion spread in August 2010 issue Vogue Italia. With the titled Water & Oil, the photoshoot has brought a realistic interpretation of images of environmental consequences due to the atrocious oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
