UNICEF's AIDS Campaign

UNICEF's campaign against AIDS
One of main contribution to the campaign was designing the logo which included drawing the ribbon. Despite it being very simple, getting it just right was a task. The image on the right is a real object which I looked at to draw a few versions of it.
For the pop-up banners, we design it and the logo in English, French and Spanish.
Some of the banners that I worked on, were press banners and portable signs.
This is one of the first times, if not the first time, where a projection was done on the side of the United Nation building.  This was done for the launch event for one whole night and was streamed to inside the UNICEF house where the launch party was happening.  I did the mock-up to help present the idea, get price quote and communicated with the visual media group that implemented the projection.
Planning a large event like this takes allot of work. We made photoshop mock-ups of everywhere visual elements were going to be placed. Often we did 5-10 arrangements before everything was just right and would be approved.  Above are two mock-up one at the United Nations Trustee room and a set of outdoor banners that were in front of the UNICEF house.
Some shots of the launch day events to raise awareness of the campaign to fight AIDs both in children and adults. I worked
on the design of many of the banners, signs and other visibility items, while working with other team members in the brand unit.
And we worked with many different departments and teams to pull everything together.

Some of other visibility items that were designed for the launch event and for use in promoting the campaign.
One of the later parts of the campaign, that i had a major role in was coming up with the PowerPoint templates for UNICEF field workers to use when presenting information and training. I also worked on visibility for digital aspects, such as guidance on the website and emails related to the campaign.
