Batik from Indonesia
Batik as Indonesian culture heritage and national identity is misplaced in society. The understanding about batik is still as a product not as a concept, meanwhile UNESCO acknowledge batik as intangible culture back in 2009.
This phenomena then causes trouble for nDalem Batik Taman Lumbini, a batik studio in Kalipucang, Bantul. Produced high quality batik, Taman Lumbini needs a visual branding that embrace its spirit.
