The Bird
This autumn in russian comic shops appeared a big bright and beautiful book with strong title "Russan Comics Exist!". This book is the result of 6 months of educational courses arranged by the largest Russian comic book publisher Bubble Comics in collaboration with the "Good Word" foundation that supports young artists and helps them to develop.
During this cource we have learned the process of creating the comics from draft script and storyboard to lettering and pre-press.
Inside this book you can find my work, titled as "The Bird" ("Ptitsa", "Птица"). It was my first experience in creating comics.
It's a story about girl, who feel terrified before interview, and all her fears take the form of raven. Words of raven causes that girl lose confidence and nearly reject her purpose. But then the Blue bird appears, to dispel girl's fears.
