Visiting the Pnong
"Wei long!"
That is what I heard from everyone as I walked through Boen Village. "Wei long" is the Pnong greeting for "Hello". The Mondulkiri Province--where the Pnong live--is about 10 miles from the Vietnam border. The Pnong are known for being rice farmers. Though they don't have much in the way of material goods, they are among the kindest and most hospitable people I've ever met.
