"Lieux dormants" is an ephemeral herbarium showcasing the Laurentian flora frozen in a state of bloom. It is an outdoor, winter exhibition that slowly mets as winter fades away and spring brings back new life. The installation plays on multiple senses, specifically the sense of smell as the scent of various flowers is released when the ice finally melts.
This project was awarded the Honorable Mention from the Association du design urbain du Québec's Nordicity design competition.
