THEY STILL LIVE
Reconstructing roots to build a bridge to tomorrow
They Still Live, supported with the help of the Paul Hamilton collection, is a journey into the discovery of self. What does it mean to be black, white, mixed, European, Native American, or other? What is the African in African American? How different am I from my fellow neighbor?

Made to be liberating, eye opening, and informative at its core, They Still Live is an effort to spark the interest of individuals to discover their heritage and to learn more about the history of their origins. Through the power of DNA testing provided by Ancestry.com,  the truth about one’s lineage is illuminated. With access to the Paul Hamilton  collection, we paired African Americans with many of the beautiful and historic African art comprising the collection. With the deconstruction of one’s genetics, coupled with the visual cues that link to the ancestors of past, we can truly say, They Still Live.
