This armchair try to reflect in a contemporary way Mexican´s furniture culture, it was inspired mostly on the iconic Acapulco chair.
Is a relax furniture for indoor use that creates a pleasant and relax atmosphere with a simple but elegant design, regarding the shape it has the appearance of an avocado (a Mexican fruit), the seat represent the inside and the avocado´s seed is represented by the ottoman.
It can be taken easily everywhere. The structure is made of iron, the shell made of molded fiberglass to make it lightweight, the cushions and ottoman are stuffed with polyurethane and fabric and it could be made based in the avocado´s original colors, or in other ones to do it minimal.
The armchair´s name came from the Nahuatl word ¨āhuacatl¨ derive in CATL.
