For the final project of Metal course, I planned to challenge myself by manufacturing smallest piece. Since the smallest bit RISD had was bigger than my design, while carving out the outlines with the bit, the cube easily got crushed several times. It was a process that needed lot of patience and stillness. After carving out the first and third layer of the cube in square, I wanted to challenge myself more and ended up designing second layer with Korean traditional pattern. The final dimension was little bigger than a penny.
