OBJECTIVE:
I had the opportunity to design and create a 50-page book for Disney Corporate Alliances. The book design is based on the Iron Man character and needed to forward a theme of technology. A total of 50 books were made.
CONCEPT:
For the cover, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop were used to design a 3D model of Iron Man’s iconic Arc Reactor. It was 3D-printed in silver metallic plastic and used along with a motion-activated LED light to create a light-up prop, which then served as an interactive center piece of the cover. A clean, modern look was achieved for the interior by using cinematic layouts, clean typography and vector illustrations. The color scheme was borrowed from the Iron Man character.
