Project brief: To understand Applique craft and create a space object for the guest house in NID, PG campus so that people can connect to the craft and to a part of the essence of National Institute of Design.
Material exploration applying applique technique of cutting, layering and stitching using paper, leather, canvas, muslin and colored cotton fabric.
Inspiration: Peacock: As it wows anyone who enters the campus for the first time.
Worked out motifs on different fabrics by layering, stitching,cutting and embroidery.
