PRISM Logo - Tape Mapping with generative visuals
I wanted to try tape mapping for a few times after being inspired by Tape Over x Ondé's work. Some friends hosts a techno music oriented night at Le Cercle bar in Quebec City and their logo is perfect for this type of art.

Making it
Using different masking tapes, I taped the outlines of the projected PRISM logo on a 40x60 inches canvas. I was a bit careless at start, so my center if off by almost 2 inches to the left. Adding the top and bottom angled lines helped hiding this. I've had a live streaming on facebook while making it. Here's some still frames from it (Sorry about quality... and yeah, that top line is not lined up perfectly, i've fixed it on location ;) )

In Resolume, i used DocOptic's Resgen 2 project file and tweaked the generative visuals to fit and made the 3D cube using a simple light path animation in After effects. I managed 3 layers (Center, Ring and Background) and using the Advanced Output, i shaped the layers and masks.
