Created by the famed photographer Norman Parkinson, the Porkinson banger has always retained a certain upper class, outgoing and slightly eccentric nature. The brief was to find a positioning and look to bring to life the character of the banger. It’s sense of flair brought the idea of creating ornate and fun Porkinson pigs. These pigs with flair would not only be the embodiment of the Parkinson vision and style but would also become collectable items.
Within a week of the relaunch ads hundreds of requests came flooding in from loyal fans asking for actual pigs. The Bangers with flair had caught the imagination and the taste buds of people everywhere.
