Illustration and cover design for the book of the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore.
Looking for a motif that in a modern way conjured up the spirit, iconography and culture of youth work actions (organized voluntary labor activities of young people in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia), which are the focus of this book, Omladinka motive proved to be the ideal choice to convey a message of unity, strength and faith in a better tomorrow. For the cover a modern rendering technique and spirit of the era detailed in the book were combined through careful color scheme selection, illustration style and introduction of a raster background with a gradient further empowering the message of a brighter tomorrow.
