we’re in 2019. After 3 years The Donald's reign, Michelle Obama takes into the race to the White House to save the world. It’s pure fantasy, but what if that were real ? After the election of Donald Trump as the President of the United States, a lot of people would love to imagine this.This is how her campaign branding could look like.
The O is for Obama.
The curvy shape is for her curvy hairs.
An icon for such an iconic woman.
In order to counter the near feminine and elegant shape of the logo,
we need a strong font that represents the strength of a leader.
The font POPPINS is a great strong font for that.
The letters looks beautiful & modern, strong and unisex.
A huge letter spacing is added to make them breath a little bit.
It also goes very well with the versatile shape that previously has been designed :
She’s a woman, but choosing feminine colors is an error (and such an easy way).
In order to make her branding modern and standing out of the box, I needed to freshen up the United States of America main colors a little bit, as she would freshen up the entire country. Updated but not too much colors would say "I promise a new life for anyone, but considering the basis of our past and deepest values".
Michelle would follow her husband as a leader, so is the design of the logo. I think a good way to communicate is to play with the nostalgia of Barack. The inner design is based on the work of the great Sol Sender & his team for the ‘08 Barack Obama campaign.
