Concrete Design - San Diego Pedestrian Bridge

Concrete Design
 East San Diego Pedestrian Bridge
This is a 4th year Structural Engineering Design Project for Concrete Design class.  The proposed bridge is designed as a connecting two-span pedestrian path for a park located in East San Diego County.  The geometric layout requires a crossing of a 5 lane low-volume roadway designed for frequent pedestrian loading.  The structural analysis of the building accounted multiple loading cases that are design to assure public safety (reference accordance to AASHTO and ACI codes).

The rendering showcases the design according to structural limitations and follows the stated codes.  All renderings were completed using SketchUP and Kerkythea.
