NICK HD+ REBRANDING PITCH
Some time ago we were invited to pitch for a rebrand of Nick HD+ India. We came up with a branding concept & partnered with the awesome White Russian Studio to develop idents for the chanel. We also invited one of the most exciting russian artists — Burago — to work on sound design & music.
We based our approach on the idea that most kids are acting to be cooler, elder & naughtier, then they really are. Quite often they seek friendship with those older and mischievous. So we came up with a character — a mascot for the channel — who'd connect the audience with characters from Nick's cartoons.
Nick is kind of cool & cheeky, but he's also a charming looser. He knows all the characters from Nickelodeon cartoons & hangs out with them occasionally. By making friends with Nick, the audience is engaged in a friendly relationship with those characters and is encouraged to spend more time watching cartoons.
Nick is very emotional. He reacts to all the situations in a very open way. He's always having tons of fun with his friends and encourages kids to join him in all the varied activities.
