The purpose of this project was to explore the integration of a product and its packaging — and the way the two can come together to create a visually unique and tactile experience. I chose to create packaging for prescription glasses. It was my intention to design a package that quietly commanded attention, and once it had captured that, then engaged the consumer from start to finish in the process of opening the product.
On theme with my chosen object, I utilized the idea of impeded vision, and the experience of transitioning from poor eyesight into clear sight.
