Di seguito le foto del packaging da me costruito per un progetto accademico.
L'artista scelto è Aphex Twin per l'album I want your soul.
Concettualmente sono partito dal presupposto che l'artista sia un collezionista di anime e che lui sia idealmente costituito dalle anime di chi sente la sua musica, sviluppando poi il tutto sotto forma di gioco:
Le anime sono raffigurate con parti di viso che messe nel giusto ordine (tramite un gioco dei 15 costruito da me), raffigurano un viso somigliante a quello dell'artista.
Nel booklet, un pieghevole, ho seguito lo stesso filo concettuale, cercando di creare però un gioco che creasse una vera interazione tra ascoltatore e musica.
Così ad ogni pagina del booklet corrisponde una canzone e ad ogni canzone corrisponde una combinazione di tasselli del gioco dei 15 da riuscire a completare entro la durata della canzone stessa.
L'ascoltatore quindi Mixa le anime dando vita in alcune canzoni a combinazioni dall'aspetto abbastanza grottesco.

Here below the pictures of packaging made by myself for an academic project.
The artist chosen is Aphex Twin for album I want your soul.
I started from the concept that the artist is a souls collector and he's composed by the soul of people that listen his music, finally representing the concept with a toy: souls are represented by pieces of faces that located in the right order represent a face that almost corresponds to the artist's face.
In the booklet, a foldout, I follow/use the same concept. I represent a game that will represent a real interaction between listener and music. Thereby to each page of the foldout corresponds a song and to each song corresponds a combination made with the plugs of the game of 15 that you can complete by the duration of the song.
So the listener Mix the souls giving life, in any songs, to freaky combinations.
