This was a directory site that was built for the Back Mountain Chamber. There were a few features that needed to be built into this site. The site needed to have a login functionality so each member of the chamber could log in and add their own content onto their page. The site needed to be easily navigated so you have the ability to search the site by category, location and business name and there are also archive pages to see lists of the same business types and locations. The site has full Google Maps integration which is built into each directory page and also on the location page showing where each business is within the community. Also included in this site is a calendar of events that certain members could log in and add events. I needed to give restricted access to certain members to be able to post new and edit their own calendar events, without being able to edit other member's events. I also needed to restrict access to each page so only the owner of the business could edit their page. The site was built on Wordpress to take advantage of some of the built in functionalities.
