The Doe Fund Campaign

I had the pleasure of collaborating with other interns to put together this campaign. This campaign was worked on at RAPP in summer 2016. The campaign has since launched, follow the Doe Fund on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to check it out!

The Doe Fund is a New York based non-profit organization
helping formerly incarcerated men to build their future.

Art Direction/ Copywriting: Elena Dick, Robert Espinosa, Marisol Mejia, Cindy Shen
Strategy: Olivia Lord, Julia Mazzuca, Puja Dharod, Mikaela Rose, Deane Ciampa, Jenna Mandelbaum
Concept- The difference is smaller than you think. We challenged our audience to question their perceptions of
the incarcerated and homeless population, channeling their understanding, empathy, and resources towards recurring monthly donations.

Reskinned the Doe Funds Facebook page

To combat these assumptions, we collected quotes said by members of  the Doe Fund and put together a Facebook quiz. The users would decide who said the quote,  a member of the Doe Fund or  a celebrity. Our concept parallels the interests, thoughts, and ambitions of the Men in Blue with potential donors to illustrate their similarities as human beings, even if their circumstances differ. Could you pick out a Man in Blue by their beliefs?

Instagram

Twitter- Users are able to take the quiz on twitter as well as donate using Charitweet.
Charitweet is a donation platform that works through Twitter. Donations, or Charitweets, use the same principles as text-to-donate. Users must  include @charitweet @organization $(amount) in order to donate. We also created the hashtag #doenate
