DESIGN PROCESS
During 4 days, students from Auburn University (USA), Brunel University (UK), Ecole des Mines (France) & Politecnico di Milano (Italy) join together at LaunchBox Workshop to develop concepts around imagining a future for our parents.
Being an interdisciplinary and international workshop, it allows us to have many viewpoints around this topic.
The Topic
During the first day, in groups of 12 students, we developed
100 ideas from the given topic.
During the second day, we made groups of 4 and pick some of the ideas produced during the previous day to developed two starters.
After presenting the two starters, and voting, we got a winner. The other idea was "killed".
During day 3 we continued developing the chosen concept, rethinking it and refining it, with a special focus in our storyboard and then helped us to do the video.
During day 4, we worked on our final presentation and video! We recorded our story, and due to the lack of time, we downloaded some vectors and drew others. We animated everything and we were ready to go!

"My New Old Buddies" was a project done for LaunchBox Workshop at Saint Etienne-France in March 2016.
