As part of the Danish Design Centre's exploration of Future Fab (Future Fabrication) in Denmark, there was a panel debate discussing fabrication, and open source technologies. "How can companies implement open source-principles without losing their unique value proposition? Join a #FutureFab debate on the opportunities and challenges of open source-based business models." http://ddc.dk/en/events/share-die-futurefab/

Vanessa moderated the panel, asking participants and panel members to evaluate their own experience with open source projects and business models. Panel members included Tomas Diez, the Founder of Fab City Research Laboratory (ES), Magnus Christensson, the partner and CEO of Socialsquare, Peter Baeck, the head of collaborative economy research at Nesta, and Erick Thürmer, the the CEO of Danish tool manufacturing company Thürmer Tools.
