International Branding - Whirlpool & Shoppers Stop

International Branding
Second Year University Project
This project was 'Live' and directed by a Designer working within the United Kingdom and Internationally.

I was given the choice of 1 BRIC country and 5 brands, therefore my decision sided with India plus Whirlpool and Shoppers Stop.

The following images show the logical development of logo re-creation for both brands. The project involved mainly secondary research, plus primary research with Indian born people in the form of 'focus groups'. Trend analysis, target audience and market level information and visual inspiration led to the creation of the new branding.
Initial research into India and the target audience of Whirlpool within this country
Shortlisting of Whirlpool's competitors and the influence that they will have on the final design of the new logo
The new logo has been inspired by the research stage and been modernised in accordance with the trend predictions and graphic design market
This again shows initial research, this time looking at Shoppers Stop, an indian Department Store, similar to Debenhams in the United Kingdom
Shortlist of market competitors and the graphic influence that they are likely to have on the new branding and its appropriations
This is the new modernised logo shown in a variety of ways to showcase its application in different methods
