3D Animation work

While at Kennedy Space, I had the rare opportunity to help design and visualize future launch pads and launch vehicles.  Even though the photo-real renderings were very helpful in presentations to NASA mgmt, there was nothing as effective as a 30 sec animation to portray an idea or concept.  Audio was never added, which is something I'd still like to do someday.

The complex fueling arm (umbilical) was a new concept that would require little maintenance after launch and provided a larger safety cone during launch.  The modeling, texturing, and animation were done by me in Autodesk's Maya.

A concept for an access arm that would allow linear translation from the Mobile Launch Tower.  Access Arm components were modeled in ProE by the engineering team and translated to Maya, textured, and animated by me.
