HISTORY
Social networking is an integral part of our lives. Personal life is closely intertwined with work. In the social networks we often talk about our employers, post photos picturing our offices and colleagues we hardly ever think of the harm we can cause to the reputation of the company we work at.
How can we secure the company against reckless social networking activity?
By telling employees about hidden dangers and explaining the ways to escape them.
This was the purpose of the Social networking conduct code creation for Severstal employees.
PROBLEM
Severstal employees overall number exceeds 60000 including the office staff and the plant personnel.
The unified format of communication should be clear for both audiences. Employees should be engaged into creation of the code.
SOLUTION
The code visualization includes a series of comics featuring the Steel man, Severstal’s superhero.
The superhero has to deal with several situations illustrating the essence of the Code. The format was specially simplified for better presentation: the pictures are clear and easy, with as little text information as possible.
The comics is delivered in the most convenient for both audiences ways: the office employees get it via the corporative mail, the plant workers see it in the corporate newspaper.
AWARDS
The project has won awards in PR PROBA-IPRA GWA (2015), Press office of the year (2015), and was published in Annual The GO-ALL-IN Awards Magazine (2015)
